As the weather starts to heat up, Chic Models is turning up the heat with their June, Model of the Month, Olga Chaplin. Olga is originally from Belarus, but has been living in Southern California for the last 12 years and calls beautiful Long Beach her home.  Olga has been modeling since she was 14 years old.  As a teenager, Olga was a ballroom dancer, but after separating from her partner,  she needed a new extra-curricular activity to do. She had always loved fashion, and supermodels like Claudia Shiffer, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Cambell were her idols and role models.  So, taking up catwalk technique classes was a simple choice.  That is where she was scouted by a local modeling agency in Belarus. From there she was sent to do runway shows all over the world like Sweden, Germany, Russia, and UAE. She loved traveling and doing what she loved at the same time was a dream.

In the summer of 2007, Olga traveled to the US for the first time and fell in the love with the country. She was amazed by how many opportunities this country had to offer including the entertainment industry. She returned to Belarus to finish her college degree and then moved to America for good.  Since moving here, she has had print campaigns for Adidas, Toni & Guy, Merle Norman, Bellami Hair, Pedego Bikes, and XCVI Clothing. She has shot commercials for Samsung SUHD TV, Pepsi, Icon Aircraft, and many more.  She has shot music videos for Ricky Martin, Armin Van Buren, Panic at the Disco, Dillon Francis, and shot a feature role opposite Ben Affleck in “Live by Night” also directed by Ben Affleck.

Her goals are to continue modeling for major fashion brands, shoot commercials, and book featured roles for TV and film.  Her main goal right now is to book a national TV commercial. Especially if she got to do it with her daughter and husband who are both so adorable.  The future is so bright for you Olga and we can’t wait to see where this journey will take you.
