Model of the Month

As summer is coming to an end, Chic Models is raising the heat with their newest Model of the Month. Nick Waaland is a true southern California guy. Born and raised in beautiful Orange County, California, Nick made the move to Los Angeles, 8 years ago to pursue his dream of acting. His journey in entertainment started a slightly different way. Before his senior year in High school, the girl he was really into, told him he should join the choir. All Nick had done his whole life was play sports, but she told him he had a good voice and should join (as she batted her eyes.) So, he joined all 4 choirs she was in and also got talked into doing the senior musical. Can we guess what happened next? He fell in love with theater….

After High school, Nick studied musical theater and began to travel the US in different touring companies. Two of his favorite shows were “The Full Monty” and “Beauty and the Beast.” He returned home to LA to focus on his acting, while also working in live shows at Disney. Nick is really excited about the recent project he has been working on. It’s a new untitled tv show that is being shopped around the networks as we speak. So, keep your eye out for him in that. He has always enjoyed modeling on the side and loves doing unique outdoor shoots. Underwater, on the top of mountains, or flying in the air. As long as it’s outdoors, he is loving it. Nick just enjoys life! Whether it’s acting, doing theater, playing sports, or just being outside. He is going to live life to its fullest and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
