2019 has started out with a BANG and Chic Model’s is excited to unveil our February Model of the Month, Mila Chernikova. Mila was born and raised in the city of the ‘Pro-Football Hall of Fame’ Canton, Ohio, but now calls Aurora, Ohio home.
Mila’s love for modeling started at a very young age. Both of her parents were photographers, so she was always in front of the
camera as a child. She was obsessed with everything fashion and beauty. When she was 3 years old, her parents couldn’t find their little girl anywhere. Where did they eventually find her??? In the back of their bedroom, digging through her mom’s makeup box and applying lipstick everywhere. LOL.
After graduating high school a year early, she decided to follow her adventurous side and move across the country to Los Angeles. While getting her real estate license, she was scouted by a bunch of L.A. agencies through her social media. She decided to sign with a few of them and has loved every moment in the industry since!
Mila has walked in many runway shows for Los Angeles Fashion Week. Some of which she has had the honor to open and close for. She has walked for Datari Austin London, Ricky Wong, Cecilia Echenique, Nina B Rose, Polina Zeynalian, Araksi Balyan, and Dauphine of France to name a few. She has done campaigns for “BreakWater Shades,” Kohl’s brand “Bebop Clothing,” “Sicky Eyewear,” and “Runway Lux LA”.
On top of it all, Mila is a singer/songwriter with a single called “Die” which has been featured on iTunes, Google music, and Amazon MP3.
After living in L.A. for 6 years and noticing everything from cigarettes to baby diapers laying on our beautiful beaches, the environment had become something she cares greatly for.
Mila supports a healthy body image through her love for sports and hopes to someday shoot for SI Swim.
