In these crazy times, Chic Models is hoping that everyone is having a great start to 2022. We are very excited about our newest Model of the Month, James Austin Kerr. James is an ultra-handsome model/actor that comes to us from the great state of Oklahoma. He moved out to Los Angeles in early 2009 and has been here ever since. In his early years, James lacked a bit of confidence and he thought modeling and acting would be a great way to overcome that. He was definitely right about that and it has boosted his confidence tremendously. He has made some amazing friends and connections over the years and he has this great industry to thank for that.

Over the last 13 years he has done ads for some of the biggest companies around. Target, Pac-Sun, TJ Maxx, K-Swiss, Hot Topic, Reef, Sit n Sleep, In-n-Out, German Vogue, and Intel Computers. He always jokes that he has been on every show that play in a dentist office waiting room! LOL. “NCIS,” “Criminal Minds,” “Scandal,” “Bones,” and “The Mentalist” to name a few. James is currently on a Cedric The Entertainer produced show called “Johnson” that just started filming its 2nd season. He says his favorite job to date was for Merrell Hiking Boots. They flew him up to Vancouver to shoot at some of the most beautiful hiking spots he has ever experienced.

James has always thought it would be really cool to be a ‘salt and pepper’ model. He says there is something classy about a mature looking male model that he has always admired. There is no rush to age, but he can see himself enjoying modeling even more in the coming years than he already has. We are so glad that he has gained so much confidence in this industry and created a wonderful career for himself.
