Model of the Month

Erika A. – February 2021

Happy 2021 from all of us at Chic Models. We are very excited to introduce you to our February, Model of the Month. She is a sexy, sweet, model, and actress all the way from Sweden, Erika Apelgren. Erika is originally from a small village in the south of Sweden, called Falsterbo. She left Sweden about 10 years ago to move to London, then Abu Dhabi, and finally landed in Los Angeles about 8 years ago and she loves it.

Erika had done some runway shows as a youngster back in Sweden and did some hair shows in her 20’s, but she really didn’t get serious about it until about 6 years ago. She was taking acting classes at Stella Adler and had to take headshots. She was very uncomfortable in front of the camera, so she decided to push herself at the things she was not good at. She started to do some TF shoots and turned out to be pretty good at it. It became a great way to make money and she really enjoyed doing it.

One of her favorite jobs was working with Tyra Banks on the launch of her makeup brand Tyra Beauty. That was a ton of fun and a great experience. She has also done campaigns for Nintendo, Fenty Beauty, Maxim, Dodge, Guy Tang, Beyond Yoga, and Guitar Center. She has been in a bunch of music videos for artist like Sia, The Chainsmoker’s, and Giorgio Moroder to name a few.

A major goal for Erika is to become a full-time model. She would love to book a campaign for a Luxury fashion house. She would also enjoy working behind the camera as she has a passion for videography and directing as well. We hope you the best of luck with wherever your career takes you….
