May is already here and the year is flying by. Chic Models is proud to announce our newest Model of the Month, the ageless beauty, Amanda Dill. Amanda moved around a lot as a child but called Hermosa Beach, CA home. From there she moved to Orange County, CA and has lived there for the past 25 years. She had always loved fashion, photography, art, and music (she actually plays bass guitar in a rock n roll band.) She used to design and sew her own clothes in junior high school and started a little business making bathing suits for the ladies around her neighborhood. That led to her first job modeling for Beach Bee Bikini in Hermosa Beach. Soon after that she signed with a Modeling Agency in LA but put her modeling career on hold to get married and raise a family. Years later, she started a high-end residential interior design business before returning to modeling about 8 years ago and she has been busier than ever before! 

Through the years, Amanda has done runway, print, commercial, fitness, and fashion modeling. She walked in NYFW, LAFW, OCFW and is off to Paris Fashion Week later this year. She has been published in numerous fashion magazines like Malvie, Selin, Moevir, La Modele, Figgi, and Legendary. She has done commercials for Disney, Starkist Tuna, Stanley Steemer, The Irvine Company, and Deloitte, along with many regional commercials. She worked on “Vixens” and “A Girl Called Jo” web series, and did music videos for Tom MacDonald, DAXX, Cadillac Angels, and Griffith James. Amanda has had many health, beauty, and lifestyle campaigns including DRMTLGY, Pureology, Prose, Cella Beauty, Pact Clothing, Muse Athletic, Halara, and CADDIS eyewear among others. Her favorite thing about the industry is the variety! Every day is different and full of surprises. She has so much fun and absolutely loves what she does. It just goes to show that at any age you can have fun and follow your dreams. What an inspiration!
