Meet Lumi Woods, Chic Models dazzling Model of the Month for August! Luminessa Woods, known as Lumi, was born in New York City and moved to Los Angeles at 18 to pursue a career in entertainment. Initially focusing on honing her creative skills through college and university, Lumi has been in the industry for several years, inspired by early exposure to acting and modeling through her mother and aunt’s influence. Her career took a significant turn during the pandemic when she built a professional website to market her creative skills, leading to a successful freelance modeling career.

Lumi has worked with notable clients such as Vertigo USA, BCBG/MaxSport, Ed Hardy, and many more in the modeling industry. She has also ventured into acting, featuring in films like “Baby Mama” and “The Notorious Betty Page,” and has been part of various commercial, theater, and music video projects.

Her goals as a model include collaborating with brands that align with her values of sustainability and ethical production. Lumi is also co-founding an online marketplace to support emerging global fashion and accessory brands. Beyond modeling, she is focused on her commercial and theatrical acting, music, and screenwriting careers.
