This year is flying by and Chic Models is very excited about our August, Model of the Month, Yulia Bliznyukova. This beauty comes to us all the way from Siberia, Russia, where she grew up. As a teenager, she moved to Saint Petersburg, Russia, but she wanted more. She wanted to get out, adventure, and see the world. She always had a dream to live in America and at the age of 19, she made that dream a reality. With her parents’ support and not knowing anyone there, she took the leap and moved to Los Angeles, CA. Once in LA, Yulia was approached by a photographer, who asked her to do a photoshoot. She has always put herself out there, continuing to learn who she was and what she wanted. She loved being around new people in creative atmospheres and challenging herself. She loved it all. She started doing more shoots, taking acting classes, and theater classes too.

Yulia has been in the industry for 5 years now. She really loves working on beauty campaigns a lot. Recently you may have seen her in projects for Wella, Colour Pop, or Moxie Lash. She has shot many music videos including an upcoming video for Kendrick Lamar. Yulia also plays guitar and has worked at multiple events for Guitar Center. She has had a really great year so far and is improving as a model and actor every day. She would love to stay in this great industry for a long time, continuing to grow personally and professionally. We just love people who take risks, make their dreams a reality, and live life to its fullest!!!!
