As we are rolling along in 2022 and the weather is starting to heat up, Chic Models is going to turn up the heat with our March, Model of the Month. The stunningly beautiful Jahla Pope!!! Jahla grew up in Tarzana, California, just northwest of Los Angeles and now enjoys bi-costal living, sharing her time between downtown LA and Miami. Modeling is something she has wanted to do since she was 13 years old and she has been doing it professionally for the past 5 years. It all started when a friend of hers was working with an up-and-coming designer who needed more models for a photo shoot. Jahla came in to shoot with the designer and she was a natural. She has always loved beauty and photography. Being in front of the camera came super easy to her and has become a great way to express herself.

Since then, she has had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest companies out there. She has shot for Lord Jones in Sephora, done beauty ads for ColourPop, EM Cosmetics, Wet n Wild, and shot BCBG’s lookbook. Jahla has built her portfolio, shooting with so many great photographers and she has been loving every minute of it. 

Jahla loves modeling and wants to continue to grow her brand through networking and hard work. Along with modeling and traveling the world, she also wants to start to expand her resume into commercial acting. One of her long-term goals is to one day transition to the other side of the camera as a Creative Director. Finding shoot locations, hiring the talent, and coordinating the project from beginning to end. Jahla is beautiful, kind, and hard-working, which is a great recipe to success. We wish her all the best and can’t wait to see what she does next……
