September is already here and Chic Models would love for you to get to know our newest Model of the Month, Theresa San-Nicolas. We have worked with Theresa for many years now. She is smart, sweet, great to work with, and a timeless beauty. Theresa has lived in Los Angeles for many years, but her road here was a long and interesting one. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to a German mother and a Father from Guam, which makes her European/Micronesian. Her dad was in the US Army and they traveled a lot, but most of her adolescence was spent in Germany, Hawaii, and California.
Theresa has been in the industry around 30 years as a Model, Spokes Model, Infomercial Host, Fit Model, and Film/TV/Commercial Actress. It all started when she attended Barbizon School of Modeling. While at the school she was scouted to enter beauty pageants. She has held many titles including Miss Teenage California. Being a pageant winner opened the doors to modeling agents and the rest as we say “is history.”
She has been blessed to work with many different agents and clients around the world. She did campaigns for Ichibankao, Shiseido, and Mizuno in Japan. In Europe, she did jobs for Quelle, Persil, Intimo Donna, La Perla, and Infomercials in England for Ideal World (one of the largest home shopping networks in the world.) In Canada, she did infomercials for True Cover, Slim n Lift Supreme, and Steam Styler. And here in the US, her film credits include “The Pick-Up Artist,” “6 Days 7 Nights,” “From Justin to Kelly (J2K),” “Latin Dragon,” “Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man,” “11:11,” and “Going Rogue.” She has worked on tv shows like Magnum P.I., Raven, Bay Watch Hawaii, One West Waikiki, Fantasy Island, Power Rangers, The Price Is Right and done commercials for Budweiser, Miller Lite, and McDonalds to name a few.
As a professional model, Theresa looks forward to doing more campaigns, makeup ads, and all this industry has to offer. As an actor she looks forward to embracing exciting and challenging new roles in hopes of one day receiving an Emmy, Tony, and Oscar.
