Isabelle Du was born and raised in San Jose, CA and currently lives in Los Angeles. She is a total California girl. However, there was a time when she modeled and lived abroad in Asia for 4 years. She has contracts and worked in Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
She entered the Face of East West Magazine cover model contest during her senior year of college and ended up winning it! Prior to that, she never modeled.
So her first tearsheet was a cover and the team she worked with that day including the photographer, makeup artist, and wardrobe stylist encouraged her to keep going
and that’s exactly what she did.
Right now, she has billboards all around Los Angeles for the LA Fire Department recruitment campaign and just wrapped her third season on Critic’s Choice Award
winning show on Syfy, Face Off. She works as a series regular model. She says it’s completely different from any other modeling gig she has ever booked because she is in head to toe prosthetic as these amazing monstrous creatures.
A few television projects she has worked on include: CBS Amazing Race Season 25, Spike TV’s Manswers, Tyra Banks Show, and Project Runway Philippines. Commercials
include: Tresseme, PG&E, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Mossimo, Urban Outfitters. She has also been featured in magazines including: Elle & Cosmopolitan.
One of her first initial goals with modeling was to be able to travel everywhere. It has taken her to new places that she wouldn’t have been able to take herself. She would like to continue
to model every life stage as a woman. “People mistakenly think you can only do it while you’re young, but that’s not true at all.” There is a need for pregnant models and mature models
as well. She believes there is something beautiful in continuing to grow as a model. She wants to be someone others can relate to.
